How do YOU want to be seen?
In July 2021 I launched “The 40 Over 40 Women’s Portrait Campaign Experience”
Women traveled from England, the USA, Dubai, Sweden, Zimbabwe, and many parts of South Africa to participate in the experience. It was such an epic success, that I decided to launch another women’s portrait experience in September 2022.
This time around, I’m in search of up to 50 women, in their 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond, for an empowering, and transformational magazine-style portrait session. The first session will commence in December 2022, and run for most of 2023. It will conclude with a special finale of a limited edition magazine, with a double-paged feature of you, and a gathering in Cape Town, South Africa in early 2024, where you can come along and enjoy a welcome drink and some canapes, and connect with all the women from the campaign.
*Note: if you are 49, and your 50th birthday is between December 2022 and December 2023, you just make it in! So welcome!

What’s included?

Consultation: Your wardrobe, styling, planning
This is where we’ll talk about your wardrobe and the details for the day. Your session will be fully customized to suit YOU! Consider some glam options like lace, sequins, or feathers, or start with something glam and end with something more sassy-casual.
02.
Professional makeover
Your hair and makeup done in the comfort of my studio. I work with a lovely team of hair and makeup artists! One will be there on the day to do your hair and makeup, which will enhance your best features,
and help you look and feel more confident in your skin.
03.
Up to 90 min. guided photo session and 2-3 wardrobe changes
Many women come to my studio thinking that ‘they won’t photograph well’, ‘that they need to lose some weight first’, or ‘that they don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera.’
That is completely normal to have a few fears, so please allow me to reassure you, I‘ll guide you through every single pose on the day, so all you have to do is show up!

COMPLIMENTARY FRAMED PORTRAIT
Approximately 2 weeks after your portrait session, we will meet back at my studio (or on ZOOM if you can’t make it in person). Here you’ll enjoy a compelling slideshow of 40-50 of the most dazzling portraits from your session. Select your 1x Portrait which will be printed in a 7×10 inch size and framed in an 11×14 inch, custom-made frame in black, white or brown. There is no obligation to purchase more, and if you do, I offer exquisite, premium-crafted collections of folio boxes, albums,
and framed wall art.

Magazine
A limited edition magazine with you in it!
This will be gifted to you at the end of the 50 Over 50 campaign in 2023.

Who can participate in this campaign?
Whether you’re a mom in her 50s or over, running her home, to a woman that is going through a huge change, like a divorce, new marriage, career, or life change, whatever your journey, you are all welcome!
The only requirement is that (one of you) is 50 or over. Come and do this for you, or bring your daughter(s), sister, or mother, and enjoy a girl’s day out!
CAN I PURCHASE JUST DIGITAL COPIES FROM YOU?
Digitals and prints are the same price. So with every printed portrait you purchase, you’ll receive the digital equivalent in that size. An additional 1x printed and matted portrait costs R1500 ($85).
WHAT IF I LOVE MORE THAN THE ONE PORTRAIT THAT’S INCLUDED? CAN I PURCHASE MORE?
I have created package collections that provide more value. Collections of portraits start at R8250 ($460). Most of my clients spend between R18K and R30K, but there is no minimum spend required.
WHERE DO THE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Sessions take place in my studio in Sea Point, Cape Town. Full details will be sent out the day before your session.
I’M NOT ONE FOR LOTS OF MAKEUP. DO I HAVE A SAY IN HOW IT’S DONE?
I work with a fantastic team of professional hair and makeup artists. Once you arrive at my studio,
you can talk through your skin and makeup preferences with one of them. They can give advice, and then it’s totally up to your comfort level.
IS THERE ANYTHING SPECIFIC I NEED TO WEAR?
This is your chance to bring along some outfits (2-3) that you feel really amazing in. Since you’ll be all glammed up from your makeover, it’s a good idea to bring along options on the more fun or glam side, like a dress or top with lace details, sequins, or feathers. Or you could start with something glam and end with something more sassy-casual, like an off-the-shoulder jumper.
WHEN DO I GET TO VIEW THE GALLERY OF PORTRAITS?
Approximately one week after your session, you’ll be invited back to my studio to view a slideshow of the best portraits taken of you. If you’re not from Cape Town, and perhaps would have already left, then I’ll send you a ZOOM link and I’ll do your viewing online by sharing my screen with you.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes – payment plans can be arranged to be paid in 2 to 3 installments over 2- 3 months.
