My custom sessions offer you a full service and allow plenty of time to capture a variety of images of your children.
The Outdoor Experience
My aim is to capture and freeze the most natural moments of your children. Almost all my children’s sessions include at least some with either one or both parents, especially if your children are under 4 years old.
I’ve found through my experience that I get the most from an outdoor photo session, when children feel relaxed, and can play and explore. I generally do outdoor shoots on one of Cape Town’s lovely beaches, in a forest, or in your garden if the space permits.
The Studio experience
For studio sessions, these need to be more structured as there is limited space in comparison to being outdoors. The sessions in my studio are therefore more close up and naturally posed. This works well for both a casual and/or more dressed up option.
Full retouching is included, so that any blemish (bruise or scratch) that may suddenly appear, can be removed. Please bring along a favourite toy if your children are young.

Your Custom Session includes:
- All your consultations – In-person, phone, and email
- My time, experience, planning your session, and approximately one and a half hours at an outdoor location (or in my studio) in Sea Point, Cape Town
- In-studio ordering meeting where I help you narrow down your images and choose products such as framed wall art, folio boxes of images, and albums
- all prices quotes in South African Rands/ ZAR
- Session Fee 2 500
The final product of your family, children, or a vacation portrait session is the creation of beautiful portraits to display and enjoy in your home for years to come. I offer high-quality, fully-archival heirloom products that are intimately handcrafted, timeless, and will complement your home. Full retouching of purchased images as well as complimentary social media-sized copies of purchased images. Images are purchased separately and clients typically invest R15000 to R25 000 ($850 to $1500), but there is no minimum spend required – you only purchase what you love.
