Girls Trip to Camps Bay, Cape Town

Noni contacted me to do a fun photoshoot of her and her ‘sisters’ Stella, Chris, Njeri, and Mumbi. We met up on Camps Bay beach early morning, and the ‘girls’ braved the chilly breeze in their matching shorts and t-shirts. They were all in Cape Town to celebrate Mumbi before she got married in Kenya. They had rented a beautiful home in Camps Bay and were doing fun day trips in and around Cape Town and the Winelands, from there.  They were such a happy, warm and lovely group, and I had such a fun morning with them, climbing up the boulders, and running down the dunes.

There were only a few other people on the beach walking the dogs, so it was great to have the beach to ourselves as an open playground.

Camps Bay is one of my favourite areas for photo shoots, as it offers a backdrop not only of the Atlantic ocean but also of Lions Head and Twelve Apostles mountain range.  The massive, majestic boulders loom in the distance and are extremely popular to clamber on in the evenings for sunset.
