From Cape Town, South Africa, and currently living in Bishopscourt Village

Energetic, successful, and contemporary
What is your favourite quote or saying?
“Happiness is not something you postpone for the future, it is something you design for the present.” – Jim Rohn
What would you say you are most proud of?
Raising the most beautiful, loving, independent adult kids, and having a very comfortable, stable marriage. The rest is irrelevant if those things don’t work.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Save for retirement. It comes sooner than you think!
What is a goal or dream you still wish to accomplish?
Starting a successful business has been so rewarding (and giving up smoking in my 30s after 18 years) but I have so much more I want to do.
A new adventure much await
. Maybe retire at 65 and run a B&B somewhere in the world. But I will do another thing in my life.
My work life has been so varied: recruitment, advertising, hotels, and now the real estate business, but lots more to come.
What are your thoughts on ageing?
Trying to keep them positive but I know it’s not fun. DO IT ALL now.
Do not put off for tomorrow what you can do today.
What did you enjoy most about The 50 Over 50 Women’s Portrait Campaign? And how did the experience leave you feeling?
I have never seen a side of myself that was so attractive or beautiful. I work hard and that’s the success nothing to do with appearance.
But seeing the work you and Donna created made me look back with gratitude.

Donna and I had a great time in my studio with Gina! Gina also wanted a few personal branding portraits, so we did a few of those too.
