Where are you from, and where do you currently live?
I was born in Canada, and currently live in Hoedspruit, South Africa.
If your friends were to describe you, what would they say?
Vibrant, caring, witty and wise.
What is your favourite quote or saying?
“You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take” Wayne Gretzky, Canadian hockey icon.
What would you say you are most proud of?
I’m most proud of my friendships; I still treasure my relationship with my best friend from kindergarten and have stayed close with friends from college,
my radio career and have now forged strong bonds with friends in my new home country of South Africa.
These people are the jewels that make my life sparkle!
What advice would you give your younger self?
I would whisper in the ear of my younger self to trust life, and to find the joy in the journey.
What is a goal or dream you still wish to accomplish?
My dream of sharing heart-centered travel is now being realized as I lead Soul Safaris in South Africa, India, and soon Egypt!
I’m currently working on my third book.
What are your thoughts on ageing?
Turning 60 is the best! I feel liberated, and empowered and I’m eager for the new experiences this new decade will hold.
What did you enjoy most about The 50 Over 50 Women’s Portrait Campaign? And how did the experience leave you feeling?
The 50 Over 50 experience was pure joy! I loved co-creating with Donna and Monica.
I left feeling beautiful, confident, and ready to embrace this next exciting chapter in my life.
