Emma & Ben’s couple shoot/ London
“All this time,
I believed
with all
I am
that I
would find
you”
Tylor Knott Gregson
I met Emma when she 3! That was 24 years ago when I was her and her brother Oliver’s nanny in London! I have stayed in touch with the family…and they have become family to me. With me living in South Africa, I don’t see them often, but when I do, it’s like no time has passed at all. I met up with Emma and her fiance Ben at Liverpool Street station in London on Sunday morning when the streets were quiet, and we headed off to take some photos around London’s East End, starting off in Brick Lane, and then heading to Spitalfields Market, the business district, Borough Market and the Millennium Bridge. We stopped of for something to eat along the way and had a chat about their wedding which is on Saturday. What I loved about this shoot was that they are both so relaxed, and just laughed so much together. Their relationship is playful and I can see the deep respect and love they have for each other. Here are some of the best one’s from our morning together. Keep look out for their wedding blog in a few weeks time.
Monica, we have really enjoyed looking at these fantastic pictures of Emma and Ben and you have truly captured their nature – we both look forward to their wedding on Saturday and the next set of photos from their wonderful day that we are so looking forward to sharing with them. Like this simplicity of the shoot. Good work.
