Mel & Braam’s Family Photoshoot / Blouberg Beach/ Cape Town

This was the 5th photoshoot that Mel booked me for! It’s been great to see their sons go from tiny babies to early and then middle childhood. I met up with them in Blouberg, just in front of the Dolphin Beach Hotel.

I really enjoy doing photoshoots here, as the beach is quiet, and on a clear day, offers views of Table Mountain.  On this particular day, it was overcast, however, the clouds looked incredible, and the filtered light created this magical type of softbox. The boys were full of energy, which was great for getting playful action shots. They climbed up and down the sand dunes, getting braver and braver with each dune. And then would run down squealing!
