Siblings Studio Photo Shoot/ Mia & Thomas

It’s all in the eyes when it comes to portrait shoots!  And Mia & Thomas have the most incredible striking, blue eyes!  Black and white portraiture gives a timeless  look and feel to images, and I love the result of these photos.  It was several weeks ago that I did a family photo shoot of them with their Mom Estie, on Llandudno beach, so it was great to have them back in front of my lens!

I started off photographing them together, Mia resisting when Thomas was trying to hug her. Even with their playful banter, I can see how much they adore each other.  A little teasing, then bursts of giggles, followed by moments of seriousness.  They are both such beautiful, spirited souls, and their energy in my studio was so easy and light.  I’d shoot a bit, then they’d take a tea and popcorn break.

The best purchase I have made this year for my studio, is the Profoto B10 flash!  It has a fast recycle time and can be used outdoors or in studio!  I used to get excited about shoe shopping, but that has all changed since I opened my studio! I dream of lights, modifiers and backdrops!  Having my studio space has been an exciting adventure. It has helped my business grow and expand exponentially.  I get to make lasting legacy portraits for my clients, and that is my happy contribution to the world!

When last did you have professional photos taken with your children, or of them on their own? My studio shoots are so relaxed and fun.
