Family Photo Shoot on Signal Hill, Cape Town

I was so excited and happy to be seeing Muleya and Ed again, after having photographed their Winelands wedding many years ago!

They have since had twins, Lusekelo and Nkwazi:  adorable, charming, curious and beautifully spirited!  I popped around the night before to see them, and meet the twins.  It definitely made the shoot more relaxed the next morning, as the children had already met me.

Their photoshoot started at Signal Hill, which is a great location for family photo shoots. It offers views of Lions Head and Table Mountain, and both great for hiking.  It’s also a lovely space for children to run around and explore.  We started the shoot there, then moved on to Maiden’s Cove in Camps Bay for a few, and then ended photographing everyone in their pool!

Muleya and Ed ordered a beautiful album from me, which I can’t wait to have printed for them!

Tips on what to wear:

Definitely wear something you feel comfortable and confident in.  Avoid heavy patterns and logos, as these can be overpowering, or could go out of fashion. For the women, accessories always add that extra bit of glam!
