Family Portrait Session / Kirstenbosch Gardens
I spent a lovely morning in Kirstensbosch Gardens with Annette, her husband Emre and their two adorable, blue-eyed and curly haired boys, Phoenix and Troy. They traveled from Mozambique, to enjoy a summer holiday in South Africa.
The gardens are nestled into the Eastern part of Table mountain, and it’s a magical place with many little secret leafy hideaways. The boys ran on the Tree Canopy Walkway, ‘Boomslang bridge’, which overlooks the gardens. They explored ‘The Dell’, with its babbling stream and lush green ferns. They floated their sticks, played and splashed in the water. It made me think of author Mark Twain’s “The Adventure’s of Huckleberry Finn”!
A relaxed, fun and interactive, family session which resulted in happy children and natural images.
I’m excited to see some of these images framed! I’ll be posting a few of those at the end of this blog post in a couple of weeks’ time when the images are back from the printers!
Some kind words from Annette:
